For now, I'm going to keep her pretty much stock. I've had it about 7 weeks now. A friend turned up the pump and advanced the timing for me. The roof had surface rust on it and the paint was missing from the hood so I sanded it and got some rattle can touchup paint... it worked great. I installed tach, boost and EGT gauges and a 900 watt amp w/ 4 6X9 3-way speakers and 12 in sub woofer. Man, Waylon Jennings sounds good on there.

It had 27K on the oil... though I would replace again after 1000 miles, but it's looking good. Replaced all fluids.

nice rig! what brand t/u paint did you use? I have looked all over but nobody local carries the right color for my truck TIA.

These are all perfect color matches: I got them at Advance Auto Parts and Pep Boys. Not a bad way to prevent rust and stabilize everthing until you want to put a nice paint job
