Only the last picture is of my truck. The others are ones from various people on TDR. --Eric

Are those DiPricol gauges on the steering column? What mount is that?

The bottom three pictures are DiPricol Optix series. I think they are a great match to our trucks, both illuminated and not. One or two of the upper pictures may be Autometer.

The mount is the standard 2 gauge mount sold by places such as Diesel Manor, Geno's, etc. --Eric

Did you have to paint to match?

6 gauges? What do they all do?

Well, probably an overkill, but I like knowing what's going on. I plan on keeping the truck forever, so I consider it value added down the road.

The 3 gauge pod on the dash houses the three common... 0-60 boost pressure, EGT, and 0-30 fuel pressure. The A-pillar gauge is rail pressure. On the steering column is oil pressure and oil temperature.

It's not pictured here, but over the rear view mirror, I have another 4-gauge pod. It contains exhaust manifold pressure or turbo drive pressure, front differential temperature, transmission temperature, and rear differential temperature.

All 10 gauges are DiPricol Optix, and they match great with the factory gauges! Each gauge has a separate potentiometer, so the brightness can be adjusted separately for each individual gauge to obtain a great match.

The oil gauges and the rear view mirror pod aren't hooked up yet. I hope to finish those over Memorial Day.

As for painting, the pods come black. Factory matching Mopar paint is available (Diesel Manor, Geno's, etc. ), and really looks good. The paint lays well, and great results are very easy to achieve. --Eric

Thanks for the info- another question tho:

Is the column mount painted natural beige (listed 03-06) or mist grey (listed as 97-02)?

I'm pretty sure my coulumn is grey...

Eric, I'll be monitoring the oil temp of my engine, trans and rear end (no xfer case or front axle, its 2wd). I will use 1 gauge and 3 sensors to do it with a 3-way switch.

Sounds like a good idea... do you know what the response time of the gauge will be when switching between temperatures?

And, yes the column (at least mine) is the mist grey color. The taupe was the color of the a-pillar, etc. --Eric
