After reading a post by Coolslice I decided to temper my original big tire and lift plans and just try and go with 33's and maybe a leveling kit to minimize the modifications. Does anyone have any pics of their truck with 33 inch tires? Thanks!!

Hope these image link works :

These are the Mastercraft Courser C/T's in LT33x12. 50R17... . No leveling kit needed on OE wheels.

I have 35's on mine with just a leveling kit. They will fit stock suspension too. I've got pics of both in my gallery if interested.

I think the key when you put on the leveling kit is to have a respectable alignment shop do your truck after. I had a guy do mine that I trust 100% and my truck drove straight like the day I bought it. I have had no suspension problems what so ever. :D

Here are some front and rear shots to go with the side views already posted. Tires on my rig are 305/70-17 goodyear MTR's. About the same as a 33 incher. Truck also has a Kore suspension which compliment the tires nicely.

FDavid- what brand of flares are those and how do you like the fit?

Oh. . and what about that hood- is it open in the back?

Heres a good pic there are more in my gallery if you like. The tires are 33x12. 50R17 Cooper Adventurer S/T's.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, has anyone else noticed the Nitto Terra Grappler in 295/70/17 (33. 25" diameter)? 3195 lb load at 65 psi (same as the stock Michelins).

Discount Tire sells them for $153!

Oh... I have noticed and have my eye on them. The size is perfect for me though I would rather have a larger diameter wheel. They would go real nice on the new 17x8. 5 Centerline Crossfire with 6" back space.

I hated my Nittos, but at $153 a piece they are almost worth buying. I would estimate that getting 20K miles out of a set would be rare. Who knows with tires, everyone has different results.

20k? Ouch. I want at least 40k life.

I have them on my truck and am very pleased. They are actually rated at 3,500 lbs. 3,195 lbs is a misprint on their website. Have about 15k on them now and seem to be wearing okay, especially since I've never rotated them.
