Here's my original input shaft at 88K.

and the old mainshaft. Sorry about the quality. It's tough to get a good picture to post on these forums due to the limitation placed on the size of the file. I guess I need to get a web page setup.

John - create a personal photo album over in "Reader's Rigs", size limitations are looser over there, and then you can imbed a pointer in your post that points to and retrieves that photo and places it in the post directly - you can even select from 4 different sizes for that photo to be displayed...

Okay, what am I looking at here? I'm not a transmission guy by an stretch of the imagination, but looking at the input shaft at least, it looks just slightly heat-scored, but the teeth and bearings appear A-OK. Are these pictures of something good, or something bad? I'd guess bad, or else you wouldn't have them out of the transmission to take pictures of, right? Problem is, my untrained eye can't detect any problems ?

Besides the input shaft is supposed to be twice that long, nothing wrong!LOL!
