Picture posting

I would like to learn how to post pics on the TDR but there too big in Jpeg form, I changed them over to Bitmap and it takes them down to 900K but when I try to post them is says it doesn't support bitmap, Do you'll have any sugjestions.

picture posting is easy if you have the images uploaded on a site/server that allows for direct access to it. to do that all you need to do is the following. .



in the below, replace all the () with [] to make it work



type in the image tag (img) then the address where the image is located. i will use this. . #ad


then close the image tag by typing in (/img)

that's how i do it when i attach directally.

there is the option of having the forum software do the work for you. if you click on the IMG button in the vB code section, it will ask you to type in the images location on the web. when you do that, it will create the approprate tags to make the image work.

most of the time though, because most of the images i take are big and i don't want to tax the dial up guys, i post them in a photo hosting server. there are many of them out there. picturetrail, yahoo briefcase and webshots are some that are avalable. i personally like the webshots one the best.

Yep, thats the size. And I've got it feeding another 60 gal tank also. I need one twice as big as I've got a sandblaster, plasma cutter and do painting. Looks like you JB welded a BHAF to your compressor. Good show!

kinda. . it's my lousy welding skills and some caulking [industrial type] and some silver spraypaint. . i was bored one day when not at work. that was the result of it

My PC is fairly new so I'm trying to figure why I can see the picture of the compressor and then there's supposed to be another picture in a post by nickleinonen that all I see is a small gray box with a smaller white box inside containing a red X. When I right click it gives me the option to show picture but never does?

the pic i posted is kinda problmatic when viewing it. because it is stored on webshots server, they do not like people linking directally to the image, so sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. sorry. it looks like it is working right now for me at least [sat july 27 @ 9:40am] if it isn't working, click on the link that is just above where the picture is/should be to see what the picture is.
