Thats the crew long bed. That is no mega cab. they cant fool us with that extra little covering sitting a good inch below the roof line. Looks nice though!

Awesome, I want one already. I need a real crewcab and the longbed. The QuadCab with a 2 year old kicking my seat gets old in the my 2005. Have thought about the MegaCab with a longbed conversion but this 2010 debute will work great for me.

Does anyone think getting a fifth vehicle is wrong?

Folks these days are so gullible... it's not a Mega Cab. It's a Crew Cab longbed with camo on it as a 'clever' disguise.

what is a maga cab?

It could be a mega cab if dodge calls it a mega cab or if they call it a crew cab then it will be a crew cab. :-{} When does a crew cab become a mega cab?

The answer is when dodge calls it one. :D

they havn't said if they are gonna keep or get rid of the megacab heavy duty's, the 1500 mega's are gonna for sure, that has been said by chrysler, don't be surprised if you see megacab long boxes from the factory or a crew cab long box.

I will temper my excitement until the Detroit auto show. If it is really a six man cab (not the Quad) and an eight foot bed, I will stay true to my word and purchase another Dodge truck.

It's been a long time coming... .

I have twins on the way, looks like a new truck might be on the way for me too! Thanks to Dodge for finally listening to us, it's about time!

I've seen those trucks twice on the highway here - both times in pairs. Unfortunately they were going the other direction and I only got a quick glance at them and couldn't snap a picture.

I like the mirrors, the clear-lens cab lights, and that very little hangs down lower than the rocker panels underneath (much unlike previous gen HD GM trucks that showed a lot of frame!)

Let's just hope they have the junk 6. 7 emissions system and DPF figured out when the new models come out.

It's too bad you don't own one. Actually owning and driving one might give you a better understanding and appreciation for the product.

Have you worked in a Ferd dealership?

A very small percentage of '08s have experienced problems. My '08 has been troublefree for 33,000 miles.

That's true about the 6. 7. It's a good motor for the restictions that it had to be made under. But with all the emissions equipment, monitoring, large computer, sensors. etc. , there's just more to go wrong. Plus they cost more. If I had a choice, I'd want a simple engine that only had air and diesel in the combustion chamber and nothing (but a turbine) in the exhaust.

Well I just picked up my January Issue of "Diesel world" on page 12 they talk about the 2010 Dodge 3500 chassis cab, says it's to vary slightly from the 09 Ram design!

but get this,it goes on to say and i Quote! the biggest change to the lineup for 2010 will be the exterior sheet metal, the changes won't be as big as advertised,Though the platform will share the sheet metal from the 2010 Ram 2500/3500 heavy-duty pickups,it will share interiors with the 2009 Dodge 1500.

This is the Good part,..... The hood and front-end design looks remarkably like the New "Durango" with the grille in a more upright position,Say observers!

So this should give us about as good an ideal what the new 2500/3500 are gonna look like till the detroit auto show!
