Hold it! NOBODY loves the HEMI more than Me, but better than sex? Nice piece (no pun intended). The only thing faster than a HEMI is the one next to it.

Yes it does take more time to find my tools most of the time--when they're not on the bench--look on the floor under the car! Last night I was degreeing in a cam on another customers Hemi--and I couldn't find the degree wheel.

May I suggest you supply your customer with couple small stickers to adorn the underside of the hood... emblazoned with a popularized statement: "FEAR THIS!!!"

The Primary header tubes look like 2". Only for 1 cylinder, yet Larger than most auto exhaust systems #ad

Semi, Is the Cross Ram Manifold the new one from Mopar performance?

Looks great and brings back memories of my drag racing days in the late 60's!

I was running NHRA BB/GD with a blown small block Chevy but was always interested in all classes and manufacturers.

I will probably be called a liar among other things about what I am about to tell you, but I swear it is the truth. In 1969 I was wandering around in a local wrecking yard as I did pretty often. I knew the owner and bought quite a few parts from him. He sent me over to a burned out car he had just received the day before. It was a 65 or 66 Plymouth or Dodge, I don't remember now, and it had the street hemi in it. It was a hemi car with the 4 speed and Dana 60. There was no damage to the engine compartment and the engine was perfect. I asked him what he would take for the engine and he told me $400. When I hesitated he came back with an offer to sell me the engine, transmission, and rear axle for a total of $500! Needless to say I told him to start pulling parts! I left there a couple of hours with all these goodies in my truck.

This was, of course, a dream of a deal, even in 1969 dollars. I sure wish it would happen again!

Before anyone asks, no I do not have any of these parts left. They were sold or traded to other racers for parts for my next car.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Yep its the cross ram is the MoPar unit.
The car in the junk yard would have been a '66 and yes there many stories (true) just like that. In 1985 I found a purchased a complete top end to a 426 Max Wedge (crossram, linkage, carbs, air cleaners & heads for $1000) from underneath a bench in a guys workshop. 1 year later I found a NOS set of Max Wedge exhaust manifolds for $100.

Customer who owns the car is 70 years old and loves these old cars.
