Dodge Crew Cab fuel tank

It's taken 4 months to get to this point (stage 6)

and I still have lots of little things to do, like fabricate the raditor fan shroud for the electric fan, finish the trans tunnel cover etc. I had a slight set back this wednesday. Drove the Scout out to breakfast and when I returned noticed a lot of oil covering the back of the Scout and lots of little puddles of oil underneath. (CRAP!) Found a hole in the extention housing of the NV4500 (5th gear), near the bottom, so of course all the oil was gone. I was technicality out of warranty (90 days from Advance Adapters) but figured that I'd try anyway. I explained to them that I had just gotten the Scout on the road, had driven it only about 10 miles when this happened. They agreed and are shipping me another NEW NV4500. I took the broken housing off and found a bolt hiding inside! The bolt was dropped inside durning the manufacturing process at the New Venture plant. The bolt still had the locktight in the threads and had not come loose from any thing inside. I can't say enough good about Advance Adapters, their even paying for shipping both ways and was willing to pay for having the trans R&R. Anyway heres the link.

Very nice conversion, love the welding job and very good way to fab the mounts.

Hope you will not have to much problem with the copper pipe on the lower water line, could you have used the rubber line?

Your in the same point as me, need to get some little problems taken care of.

I found one of my door speakers on the Ramcharger not working and thought that the wiring was messed up, pulled the door apart to find that one wire at the speader had brokem, quick fix and I have all 4 speakers working again.

Just waiting on gages and rear disc conversion to arrive and go ahead and install it.
