Oo. Well as promised I have taken some photos of the newly redesigned TPS, Throttle Position Sensor.
History: (Only on the manual transmission trucks with TPS under the driver side battery)
When releasing the throttle pedal, it occasionally would stick around 1000rpm. Some times it would cause the truck to rev while shifting gears.
Solution: Remove the inner fender on driver side.
Replace the TPS from underneath the battery support. My replacement has a white and blue dot to identify model series.
Cause: The intercooler pipe was resting against the lid of the TPS housing causing a binding action. The throttle stop was redesigned to include a bevel top as to not rub against the housing lid.
