Can those that have added new wheels to their 04-05's 4x4's, 3500's post them and tell me what make they are?

I'm thinking of going 35's with 18 inch wheels. Weld seems to make some sweet wheels.

Any problems with offset that I need to be concerned about?

Also, anyone know of who makes the adjustable drag bar so when I lift the truck say 4 inches, the center of the front axle stays centered? (whose got the best 4 inch lift that includes new radius arms?)

Thanks

If you click on the link in my sig line (truck specs) you can see a picture of my truck w/ 4" of lift up front and 35x12. 5x17 BFG at's on Weld Cheyenne 17x8. 5's w/ 5. 1" of backspacing.

For lift I'm running the skyjacker front box kit (arms, arm brackets, trackbar drop, and pitman arm) along with the kelderman front air ride kit (which I have setup at 4" of lift instead of 5").

Overall it works well, although I've changed pace an will be taking it all off within a month or so and installing the KORE Chase system that started arriving in the mail, and some toyo MT's on stock rims.

THOSE are the wheels I've seen in the past, they look great. Why did you go with the skyjacker lift? What is the reason to move the front top radius arm? Better geometry? Does is steer straight and not wander?

Looks sweet.

I went w/ the skyjacker pieces instead of the kelderman ones, because the kelderman kit uses long arms on teh 5" lift and they hung down too low for my taste, plus I didn't like the design of the trackbar drop or sway bar brackets.

Geometry is my guess, although they allow the arm to droop a little more by reducing the angle of the arm.

It steers just fine, no problems w/ wander or anything, if the road is decent you can take your hands off the wheel and it will track nice and straight.

BTW: if anyone is interested in my lift or rims, they will be for sale soon, pm me or I will post in the classifieds when they are actually off of the truck.

I am running Helo Maxx 8 wheels with 35 12. 5 18 Toyo M/T's. I have a Superlift 4" kit with the rockruner control arms. I will try to get some pics in the next few days. I got a good deal on the kit. PM and I get you some prices and the number for the guy.
