Awhile ago someone mentioned a rumor that Dodge was going to offer some throwback colors for the Ram. I don't know if these are factory or aftermarket paint jobs, but here's some pics of new Rams at a local dealer that I thought I'd post for ya'll. These are not diesels... .

The purple,yellow & orange are UGLY... IMHO... . the yellow and orange might look good on a 69' Cuda... but not on these trucks!

I like purple but that purple is a touch "lavender. " I really liked the purple Dodge had in 98-99: Amethyst. That was pretty close to the perfect purple for me (purple is like green, you have to have just the right balance of pigments, otherwise it looks terrible).

i like the hood, but i think the scoop'ed one on the srt10 is nicer

a convserion company makes those, the orange and purple are GTX models (as they named them) i asked about the coor also, and they said they used a paint laser to match the orig hemi plum and orange. i thnk the metal flake lightened the color. the GTX are also a 'numbered' series, i. e. 25 out of xxx iirc the seats are also trimmed in the exterior color, as well as parts of the dash and steering wheel

we have a orange and a purple on for sale in columbus ohio i believe, if anyone likes them... ... as well as the new mabba edition viper, only 200 ever going to be made, white paint, red and black interior, and a dash plack with the number, we have 94/200



its a damn sweet car

oh, and dodge has a concpet called the rumble bee, that is painted yellow, and looks similar to the gtx there, but slightly different... maybe in other colors too, i have just seen the yellow

There was also a green GTX there, but someone was test driving it when I was taking pix.
