PID’s for EDGE monitor

Just updated my edge Insight CTS2 from the Eco-Diesel V6 to the Cummins in my 2017 Bighorn that I traded the Eco diesel for. What PID's are the important ones to monitor for the Cummins?

This is my 4th Ram starting with my 91, then 95 and then 03 3500.

This is what mine looks like. EGT comes from the edge probe and drive pressure comes from a custom plug-and-play harness I designed.

Thanks for the reply < Flopster843 > I have mine set up and running now. Waiting for more suggestions from some other 6.7 owners before I come up which ones that come with the edge that will use.

I monitor the following on my main screen (I have the old CTS not the CTS2)

Gear / TC Lock status
EGT 1
VGT Position
DPF Status
Boost

Hey RB33... I like to watch VGT position so I know how much the exhaust brake is active... Doesn't really matter, but I like it.

I have the edge insight cts as well. How are you monitoring VGT position? That is not a PID that I have on mine.

Shorthorn, My edge was set for my 1500 ECO Diesel so it needed to be updated for the 6.7. I do not know if the VGT PID was on it as the ECO Diesel did not have a factory installed exhaust break. The GDE tune had it. I called and talked to EDGE and they said it had to be updated for my new 6.7.

Maybe I just need to update my insight. I can't remember the last time I had it off the truck.

No update for my 2012 edge insight CTS. I might have to contact edge and see if the vgt position is even an option for my year truck. It would be cool to know where it's at when driving.

randomrunner, does your rig have a automatic exhaust brake ?

RB33 yes it does. I just hit the button under the radio and it lights up on the dash and when I let off the throttle it takes about 2 seconds and kicks on until I either hit the throttle again or fall under 1000rpm. I still need to contact edge support to see if the VGT position is even something for the my2012 trucks.*

Unfortunately no. I haven't updated in a year or more but it looks like edge stopped making changes once the CTS 2 released.

I've called many times asking and I'm always pushed to upgrade.
