Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Piers 2 lo conversion

Does anyone have Piers' kit? I have a few questions and would like to see a picture of the switch.



I'm trying to figure out if is electrical or mechanical.

I bought one from Piers a few years ago, it was made by Pac Brake though. It uses an electric vacuum switch like the one on the Pac Brake itself.

I want to be able to engage the front axle and disengage the front axle at will.



Basically I want manual control of the CAD, like a cable system but without the cable.



Essentially I want to imitate the non CAD equipped trucks where 4wd / 2wd is based on transfer case lever, so I can leave the CAD locked on icy-dry-icy-dry patches of road. But yet save wear on the transfer case by disengaging the the CAD on dry roads.

I bought the cable. I like to know for sure that it will engage or disengage. And even if the cable breaks the CAD can be manually actuauted without disassembling anything.
