Next Cummins for the Dodge

Test drove a 6 speed Duramax today

Nah... no competition for Piers there! Why, I bet they didn't even have someone call the fire department for that one!

:D :D :D :D :D

(YAWN... )

GEE, burning rubber with an EMPTY truck - BIG DEAL! :p

I can do that with my old '91 Ram 250 - I just hate paying for the rubber trying to impress total STRANGERS who probably would think I was an idiot anyway...

Why give them reason unnecessarily?  :p

I'll be impressed when I see them do a 3 minute video full of donuts with the result being a city fire truck. Power-braking an automatic in a straight line ain't nothing. Try it in a 5 speed sometime. :) :) :D

Geez Bob, now you've gone and gotten me all worried:rolleyes:

I bought myself a 94 5spd 2 wheel drive truck that's in bad need of some new tires. Guess I'll have to burn the old ones off:D Time to make a PDR video anyways ;) Dave where are ya??? We need your camera & video shooting skills again:D

I can't believe those guys are proud that they can "light em up" on wet pavement. Even a Geo Metro can do that!

My 160hp '95 with it's stock power plate and 180hp injectors can lightly light it up in a straight line on dry pavement *and* no power braking.

Hey Piers,a '94 2wd reg cab,eh? Wanna trade for my 2wd reg cab auto?

-Mike

Mike, I was going to put an automatic in it, but maybe we can do something, if you're wanting a 5spd truck. Mines a full load, with exhaust brake, pyro/boost gauges, 3000rpm gov kit, high flow delivery valves, #4 plate, 4" exhaust, cat back, only there is no cat [legally:) it's an early 94 ] & an EMD roll back box cover. I was looking for a plain jane one, but this one came along at the right price, real clean & low miles. Do you like red trucks;) Fill me in on the details of the one you have.

Piers,I told my wife about your truck (becasue the '95 is hers). She likes her auto, but seems to be thinking hard on it. Your truck sounds waaaaayyyyy nicer than ours. By the sound of yours,I'd have to give you a suitcase full of cash along with the truck! Ours is a late '95 white/silver and just the basic SLT Auto with 3. 54 open diff and has 118k miles on it. Bone stock with no accessories (yet) except for 180 injectors.

It's kind of a 'restoration' project now,so I think I'm married to it.

Mike let me know what your wife decides to do. I've got to start building a truck soon. I was helping Jeff Alan from Florida build his 2000 truck into a racer, but now he's decided to have me build him a older truck. He wants me to put a 24V engine in with a P pump & turn her up to 500-550 rear wheel hp. Of course I'll have to test drive it for a week or so before shipping it to Florida:D

:p Sounds like a tough job, keeping the tires on the rims and all, during the "test" drive that is he he he!

Happy Shake Down Run :D

Piers,

I hope you make a new video for PDR with the truck you are building. :D Also we need to put your logo on the sides of it.
