whats a good single turbo for towing that will lower egt's





but if i add more fuel and more air



will the radiator take a dump?



i hit 80 pct on my 1993 gauge today ( temp) 40 psi 1500 deg for



30 seconds but motor temp went up climbing grade pulling a heavy load

What turbo are you running now? I would go with at least an HX-40/16 or bump up your timing if you are running 370s. Why would you ask if your radiator would take "dump?" Adding more fuel and air has nothing to do with the radiator. Just increases your cylinder pressure.



What do you mean you "hit 80% on your 1993 gauge?" What is a 1993 gauge and what does 80% mean?? Please clarify.



30 seconds at that EGT is pretty dangerous if you are running your EGT thermocouple pre-turbo. @ 1400 + for that amount of time, you really run the risk of melting a piston down. :eek:
 
If you run high EGTs for long it will increase your coolant temp. . . the hight EGTs raise oil temp which in turn increases coolant temp.



I think Mopars is saying he hit 80% restriction on his filter minder on his '93 Ram. Time to consider another air filter?
