Yeah they've been available for awhile, he bought some extra turbos and modified them so now he can just send them out. Before it was you had to send yours in to get modded. Price is around $350 and I'm quite pleased with mine.
Give us some more details. Did you see much change in EGT`s? Does Piers just grind out the original housing or change to a larger size? How are they getting better flow?
SFR the housing is machined and compressor wheel replaced with an HX40 pinwheel. The exhaust side is left stock and the turbo appears stock. . . bolts right in. I do not have gauges but others with gauges have reported max EGTs have drop about 100-150F. I have noticed with my stock HP a nice power increase above 2000 rpm and it spools as well as stock. I also noticed improved exhaust sound
My neighbor is getting ready to start some bombs on his 3rd Gen. Anyone know how much power this turbo will handle? I've been waiting for Peirs to get some info about it on the website.
