It was actually David TD of DieselPerformance Motorsports that made the observation that the EZ pulled harder down low, while my truck was on his mobile dynojet.
Those results are not comparable to the general public, as I have a TST PM3 Comp with a custom program and that was the one in use that day, not a regular TST PM3.
LSmith and I both feel that the VA pulls harder in the low end, making it a better choice for drag racing when money is on the line. 1Tuffram asked what the deciding factor was.

I sold out of EZ Edges, and the VA still would not sell.

So it's on my truck for an extended test. I have noticed it smokes more, and the PDR Hx40 kicks up boost a bit faster with the VA. Price wise, the EZ is a better deal. It's also a better deal due to Edge's customer service and quality, and the fact they are "one of us", genuine diesel enthusiasts, and friends.
Finding the right combination would involve having all the boxes in one place at one time, along with the truck and a dyno. Preferably TWO trucks. I'm a little busy building trannies and installing clutches but when I get a day free, I can scoot over to the big town and do some testing.
