pillar pod for 04

I would like a 3 pillar pod for a 04. Could I just take off the molding and handle and replace the empty space with a pillar pod?

Sure, but I heard on some of them, the wiring and plumbing for the gauges might show through the windshield, when looked at from the front. I put a 3 gauge pillar in mine, and used the original under it. Had to cut the handle off, but then you can use the holes to run the wiring underneath, and nothing will show. It fit like a glove.
