Does anybody know of a company that has come out with a windshield piller instrument mount yet? I would really like to get going on this truck without being blind to important operating parameters. Ya no whut I mean Vern? Billy & jackie. . :)

They're available. Most vendors that sell gauges have them in two gauge or three gauge. Geno's has them molded in the correct color so you don't have to paint.

Geno's told me that the colored gauge pods they have are painted, that is the color is NOT molded in. They cost $7 more, about the price of a can of paint. If you have to do any trimming to make them fit (like I did) the black will be exposed.

The only thing I don't like about the 3 gauge pod is that the top gauge is in your face, close enough that is is a little fuzzy. The 2 gauge pod would be better IMO.

I could have sworn that it said they were molded in the color (in the new catalog that just came out with the latest issue of TDR), but I could be wrong.

I just checked the website, and they are not listed, even under the "what's new" section, but I saw it in the "what's new" section in the catalog. I'll check when I get home.

Jeff,

That is the same thing I read in the Geno's catalog... color is molded in.

I would order a 2 gauge pod, but I want to see a photo of how it looks on an '03 truck A pillar. Removing the assist handle on the pillar isn't an option.

Bill,

Look at Greg Boardman's Readers Rigs pic, he has some pictured there. I'm pretty sure that the 2 gauge pod is a full A Pillar cover so you would lose the handle on that one too.
