Pimp my Ride duramax impala

I saw the post letting us know it was coming on, but no post after the fact. figured I'd start one myself... . Though it was a Duramax, did anyone else think that car was badazz? I realize having the Governator on was a promo and all, but didn't he seem overly fake? All in all, a pretty sweet ride, wish I had a ride crappy enough for them to pimp for me... though, I would have to live in CA. Think I'll stay out here in the Midwest... . :-laf

I don't watch that show, but I have seen it before, never thought they would do a diesel upgrade, my friend is the editor for that show, I am gonna ask him to gert me a copy of it, sounds like a cool ride.

I quit watching MTV when they quit playing music (about 15 yrs ago), but have actually started to like that show. Most of the vehicles are so ridicules and impractical, but it is decent entertainment. If you get a copy of that episode, think there might be another if someone wanted one? I missed the first 5 minutes. I also liked when it beat the Lambo in the 1/4, staged or not. To bad they gave it to a guy that probably won't take care of it the way it needs to... . :{

After reading your post yesterday I went and checked the internet for information. Seems your Cal gov was in on it? They were saying something about being a "green conversion". Nothing green about an 800hp duramax. That thing would leave major smoke screens. I guess Bio don't smoke?

yea, if they were doing cars like that every episode, i would be a die hard fan. otherwise that show sucks.

I saw when they raced it and I didn't see a lick of smoke, guess Uncle Gale was in on it... ?:-laf I saw another episode they fixed up a Grumman bread truck for this skateboarder, when I heard them drive it off I was sure it had a 12V in it, wish they would have souped that up
