The right rear steel brake line has a pinch in it. Can someone give me some advise. This line runs all the way across the axle and joins the left rear line. Should I remove the whole line, bend/flare a new one, and re-install? Can anyone give me some advise on this procedure? Or am I better off ordering the line from the dealer ($120)?

You can buy different lengths of line already fitted and flared or if you have the double flaring tools, you can cut the bad piece out and replace just a section, or that end of the line. bg

If you like working on your own stuff the buy the tools [ I go to Snap On for the quality and service {unless I can go around them to who they get it from} the service is not what it used to be] or have it replaced by your neighberhood shop- if theres not much rust of other issues 10 for parts ,1/2 hr , some shops may due a min. 1hr. . I'ld think that half the dealer would be not hard to do.

NAPA or most other places will have a line that's close to the length you should need, which is already fitted and flared. Purchase an inexpensive tube bender when you pick up the tubing and you'll be back in business in no time. Why pay the dealer $120 for what you can do in an hour or less in your driveway? MHO
