At an idle, if I stand on the drivers side of the truck, near the front tire, it has a pinging sound, kind of like hitting a tin can with BB's. You can't hear it in the truck or outside on the passangers side.

Any idea's:confused:

Mark ... ... TqT :D Didn't ya say it was right near the Vp44 area?

I was thinking about it last night and I change my fuel filter constantly (In fact many guys might want to buy my "Old" ones 'cause their that good) and ONE Time in band camp ... ... I Mean One time I changed the filter and as usual I use the drain petcock to loose a little fuel so I don't get it everywhere. well after all was said and done I left the lever up a FRACTION and I heard a noise ..... No fuel just noise ... . a good way to describe it was a sort of "Water hammer" just like banging pipes in youre house and that was rattlin' the fuel line to the VP44.

So I cinched it up and Viola no noise! Now when you checked the EZ the other meet by any chance did youre sleeve or something get caught on anything in that area? If so just take a peek and make sure.

just a thought.
