Dodge gets the opportunity to have my truck for a day. My pinion seal is leaking. I heard that Dana/Spicer did some production mods but only modified the pinion seal instead of making a new one. The modified ones are supposed to leak. It leaked before but I was stupid and cleaned up the mess before taking it to Dodge. They saw no mess therefore the couldn't have been a problem. It took me awhile to remember how I got it to leak in the 1st place. I carry 400 pounds of bagged rock in the back of my truck to smooth the ride. I guess the added weight changes the angle of attack for the driveshaft and lowers the pinion seal towards the ground. It leaks like a champ with a full tank of fuel and all the rocks. I am sharing this info for those of you that haven't carried any weight and don't have any leaks. Without the rocks my pinion seal won't leak.

Secondly: does anyone have the fault codes. I did the 3 turns of the key and got PCU fault 1653 and ECU fault 0522. would love to know what these are before my truck gets turned in.
