Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Pinion seal

I have had to replace my pinion seal twice in 77K miles. Anybody else had a problem on a Dana 80 with limited slip?

Yup, just replaced mine at 55k. I have found that the factory seal is the only one worth getting. at 54k I used the seal that came in a D80 rebuild kit. It was a POS with little sealing surface. You might also want to check your pinion yoke. I replaced mine because it was spreading at the u-joint caps and it had two score marks in it from the seal.
