Wall St. 350 billion to go

Health care question? What if ?

From past threads, there's a few fans here.

I got the 2 disk concert set for Christmas.

WOW

Amazing footage. The staging is fantastic, and the production quality is nothing short of outstanding. If you're a Pink Floyd fan at all, this is a great addition to your library.

Now, I just have to wait for a day when both my g/f & the folks on the other side of the duplex are gone, and give the amp a real workout.

I got Pulse as well and it is a good dvd at moderate volume BUT it is a great DVD with the VOLUME CRANKED UP!

About 20 years ago i would have some crazy wild parties at my old duplex and a week before I would warn the neighbors and buy them a movie and dinner gift certificate to some restaurant and they were always good about it.

Just blare it the gf and neighbor will either join you or get over it :-laf

I got the original Pulse CD years ago. Is this the live performance of that CD? I'd pay large to see Pink Floyd. I caught the tail end of a VH1 show on them. The part I saw was David Gilmore and Roger Waters burying the hatchet long enough to get back together and do Live Aid or one of those shows. That would have been awesome!

Yup. 2 disk DVD set, concert video.

Unfortunately, with the passing of Richard Wright last September, seeing Pink Floyd in concert will be a little difficult.

I got a chance back in 94 to see one of thier shows at RFK here in dc and I don't think I will ever see a show tha will match it again.

Pink Floyd is great. I was just being born when their best work was being produced but I listen to it all the time :)

Biggest Floyd fan here. OK, one of em anyway. I recorded "Pink Floyd Performs Dark Side of the Moon" that was on public television a couple months ago. It was recorded at Earls' Court in london in '94. It is an awesome show. David Gilmour is the best guitarist ever. That's a fact-not opinion! They played a couple of bonus songs too. Wish You Were Here and of course Comfortably Numb.

My DVR is set to record anything with Pink Floyd. It recorded a couple of documentaries about the band that were really cool. One was about the making of Dark Side of the Moon and it was really interesting.

I saw them perform at the L. A. Coliseum in the late 80's or early 90's. I can't remember for sure, but they were so far away, we could barely see them.

That *IS* disc 2 from Pink Floyd Pulse.

Do yourself a favor, and go buy the set. The high bandwidth audio alone is worth the money.

i saw PF twice. in '75 for the wish you were here tour at milwaukee county stadium. and the animals tour at soldiers field in chicago in '77. both were fantastic concerts. we were disappointed when the wall tour only played on the coasts.

pbs was just doing a pledge drive in chicago over the holidays and featured the whole PF concert from the 2 disc set. i forgot all about it till now. thanks for the reminder. gonna pick this up.

ATTENTION, ATTENTION: VH1 Classic will show "Which One's Pink?", and the concert from the Pulse DVD on Friday the 23rd. It will be a good night for Pink Floyd fans!

I have followed their band since childhood and was lucky enough to see them during the tour for "The Wall" in an Atlanta Concert at "The Omni".

Great music that was way ahead of its time and timeless in nature.

Crossing fingers for the remaining members to do over but time is getting shorter for that to happen.
