Hello, I'm rebuilding my cummins for my truck, and i'm using an 89 block, and 95 style pistons for the inline pump. Now my question is that in my gasket set I have two different style of cooling nozzles, so which one do I use? the ones that came out of the block were the short clear ones, but that was also for the rotary pump. I didnt know if it made a difference on the block, or the pistons on which one. The longer ones also have a bigger id with them. I would pull my other engine apart to check which one it has, but I buried it in the barn already and it would be a half days work to just get it out. Thanks, Steve

Hmm??? everyone I talked to that has replaced them always use the ones that came out of that block, but no one has ever used an older block with newer pistons... Well I put the green ones in because thats what my old block had in it, and i'm also using the oil pump off of that block too, so I guess I'll see how it goes...
