Where is the best place to purchase the Piston Lift Pump 3936320 and all of the other goodies to make the change-up? I have the parts list from the Readers Rigs Gallery, however, whoever put it there didn't leave his name or I would have E-mailed for the info. I have tried my local man , I think he is ripping me a little at $408 just for the pump, let alone the rest of the goodies. I know they don't give it away, but that seems a little steep. John.

Swapping in the lift pump that is used on the 2nd gen 12v, I take it? $408 is a rip off. Got mine for less than $100.

Try Piers. He's in Canada. Won't rip you a new one.

Probly my info on that pump in my RR's. 6320 is a low pressure lift pump designed to be used with the VE pump. I thought you were gonna swap in a P-pump? If so, you'll need to buy another lift pump as this one is maxed out around 15-16psi wot. The p-pump I've heard needs min about 25psi. Do you have a Cummins distributor near? That is where I got my parts needed for conversion. 6320- $150us. Total for all parts ~$200US. Was that $408 canadian? How much is that in US? I'm sure you can go to Cummins.com and find one near that will ship maybe. You could get the parts from PDR but they gotta make some off the deal too... anymore ?'s . . feel free to ask. BTW piston LP's are sexy.

I am going to swap in P-Pump but not till this winter, in the meantime I was considering making this change. When making change, truck will be down for a while as just changing to P-Pump is only one segment of the plan. John.

I don't understand what you're saying, but at $200 for this upgrade, then another $150-$175 for a high pressure or P-pump piston lift pump after the upgrade to a p-pump, thats alot of money.

What I'm saying is you can't use the 6320 lift pump with a P7100 P-pump, not enough supply pressure.

I use this truck only in the summer for pulling my 5er and boat. It is parked all winter, that is when I want to swap. It will take a while as I want to use the 94 head, but first send it to Piers for some work, also I want a new cam for the change-up. Currently the 94 is still in use as I am using that truck for work and home. When I'm done with, as you call it the 6320 lift pump I will sell it to a friend who has a use for it. Where do you come up with this 6320#? Is this a Carter#, Cummins#? Where is the best place to purchase this animal and necessary goodies? John.

Local Cummins distributor as Swank said. I just say 6320 for short and those are the only four numbers I can remember. Its 3936320, a Cummins part number. Sounds like a plan then, be able to make a buck after removal. I will be buying up the parts again as I just bought a donor rig for my crewcab.
