Looking for a pitman arm for my 96 4wd. I've called the local stores and when I search online I only get 2wd or dropped ones. I just got the DSS steering box stabilizer and figured I would go ahead and change the pitman arm. I changed the tie rod end at the pitman arm when I replaced the steering stabilizer and track bar. Pitman arm is probably fine but I would like to replace before I put the DSS on top of it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John Pogue

Why replace the pitman arm? This is not a wear item unless something wasn't installed right. The only time you would need to replace one is if you had a truck with an integral ball/socket joint for the tie rod, which for you is not the case.

What he said. I added the stabilizer and left the old pitman arm on. It's not a wear item unless it comes loose, then other things have also gone wrong.
