Just received a DSS for a 1999 2x4 2500. To remove the nut for the pittman arm I am going to have to purchase a socket as mine socket set only go up to 1 1/4". It appears to be metric best I can tell. Maybe 32 or 33 mm. What size is correct?
I just went through this over the weekend, but mine's a 4x4 so beware. I ended up using a 1 5/16" socket. 32mm is definetly too small and I couldn't find a 33mm socket anywhere. Between a 34mm and a 1 5/16" the 1 5/16" fit best. Sounds like it'll work out the same for your 4x2. Good luck.
