Thanks, TDR Staff

Grand Cherokee has now Mercedes Diesel engine.

Who else looks forward to the first of every month?

I was recently reading the Pittsburg diesel site that someone referred to. I was wondering if their big rig experiences of using low 14-16 compression and ceramic coated pistons to build more power with lower EGT would carryover to the rebuilding of 4 and 6 cyl. cummins.

Thanks for any input

YES

I don't have hard proof, but I have been a patron of that article, and one day when I am rich, I am going to build a lil' B-series from the ground up and the piston treatement they talk about will be included :) To me it only makes sense, an insurance policy for high heat if nothing else. I personally am amazed at the net tonnage of HP that the b-series cummins can shell out and not detontate  I just want to build one for that purpose and see what happens... anyway, I'll stop dreaming now he he :D

Diesel Injection

Diesel Injection can build you a crazy diesel. I have seen some NTC motors come from them that have had over wheel HO. Dan does some great work. They are very reputable people. I should be callling them Lethal InjectionOo. because they can squeeze that much HP out of a motor. Just my 2cents:D

I just love these guys:)-{} :-{} :-{} :-{} :-{} :-{} :-{} ).
