Andy and Doug of www.smokindiesel.com and I are starting a Chapter centered on Pittsburgh, Pa, area.



We are basing it on low hassle, high fun!



We plan on having small cruise ins, like this one,

at Quaker Steak & Lube in Sharon, Pa,

SEPTEMBER 30th. 12:00 Noon. to 4 Dinner at 1 in Thunder Alley

and meeting at other events, such as the one listed below.

I live in the DC/Baltimore area but was born and raised in western PA. Let me know when yinz are getting together, I will try to make it. We usually make the trip around 8 or 10 times a year, more often now that my Dad is sick.

Gene,,Sept 30 would work for me,,I'll load up the Flame Red and head west for a rewind of old times,,My Dad when he was in the PSP was stationed in Mercer and Meadville,so I know the area well,,Look forward to coming out,,Not far from where the ducks walk on the fish..... Also a chance to go to Rudy's restaurant if still there,home of the Poorboy,,PHEW,what a deal.....

I am going to try to make it for the dinner. Am I correct that we are meeting in Sharon at 12 noon. Any better directions? I have never been there and I never heard of Quaker Steak and Lube.

Simple!

79N to 80 W, to 18 N.



Turn left(W) onto the expressway at Lowes. This is the Sharon by-pass.



Go through several lights, a mile or so, at the bottom of the big hill,(atv/motorcylce dealer on right) the main road goes left, you stay straight. Cross the tracks, you are there. On the left, can't miss it. If you cross the river, you missed it.

I Will try to make it for at least some of the time, I know I have to work. I would like to meet other TDR members in the area. I especially would like to meet with others who have E-brakes installed to get a good look at what I am getting myself into.



If I can't make It I will make sure to be at the next get together.
