Hello,
Another TDR Member and myself are interested in starting a Local TDR Chapter here in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area.

I am looking for some club start-up information(rules, regulations, by-laws, etc. ).

Also looking for other fellow Cummins Ram owners interested in participating in such a local club.

Are there any TDR members out there who have already been involved in starting such a club that could give us some tips and help us out?

Thank You
Andy

I'm from Mercer County, Radixr is from Waterford, and Skibby is from Erie. I reckon we could convoy down sometime to see ya!
We have had one Rally at Sharon Quaker Steak and Lube.
I can give you the contact name for the Pittsburgh Lubes if you want.
Good luck!

Andy, you don't want Gene to infect your local chapter! He is very abrasive and starts fights among the members all of the time! #ad

Good luck and hope to meet you in June!

Thanks Gene. If you have another rally, please put my name on the invite list. I have a few friends to bring too. I would like to have that contact name for the Pittsburgh Lubes. Any information that you could give me on starting this club is appreciated.

Thanks for the advice Eric. I will be sure to watch Gene. Eric, you guys at GLTDR seem to have a great TDR Chapter going. Looks like a great group of people and a great website and chat room. Could you tell me how you guys started that club and how it is organized? I really want to end up with a club similar to yours. And by the way, what is going on next June?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help...

Thanks for the input guys. Andy and I have great hopes for a chapter here in the Pittsburgh area. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Why reinvent the wheel.

Pipe up if your interested.

Andy,

Don't worry about Gene. All he needs is a good swift kick in the *** once in awhile and he straightens right out. I'll volunteer. Count me in on a Pittsburgh chapter. I'm from Pgh. originally.

Wow Gene. You sure do take a lot of abuse.

Hey Dave, where in Pittsburgh did you live, and where do you live now?

I had a feeling it was going to be this way. There are a lot of Cummins Ram owners in the Pittsburgh area, and former residents of the area, who really don't know each other. This is going to be a great way to get everyone together and have some great rallys, truck shows, picnics, etc...

Keep spreading the word guys. We are going to have a get together sometime soon to discuss how this club will be structured. Our main goals are fun, fun, and more fun...

Speaking of fun, I had an encounter with a fellow PowerJoke buddie of mine today. His 99 PowerJoke has a hot chip, exhaust and injectors. He thinks his truck screams. Well, needless to say, I didn't even have to take my truck off of Level 1 on the Power Edge to walk away from him. And the beauty of it all is rubbing it in his face, how bad he got smoked by a little tiny 6 cylinder.

You gotta love these little 6 cylinders...

Andy, I used to live in Ingomar (North Hills -- North Alleghany School District). My Mom still lives there - nice neighborhood. Waterford is 15 miles south of Erie (we are getting blasted right now with lake effect snow). It's only about 2 hours down I-79 to Pgh. My wife and I will be visiting my Mom this Christmas. Email me your phone #. We should talk about this.

I'm from Philadelphia but live in Pittsburgh

Hi Andy,
It looks like I will be in the area this weekend. We have some things to do early. If we have time in the afternoon I will give you a call If you have nothing planned. We could meet somewhere. I'm ready for spring to get here. My truck is soooo dirty. Talk to you on Sat sometime. Jeff

Andy,
I live about 3 miles south of Rt. 30, just south of the big city of Whitney.

Looks like you have been bombing away on your truck. Not many Dodges around Mt. Pleasant... I always see lots of F and C's around there though.

I met a guy from over there last summer with a white reg cab. He had straight duel pipes on it, sounded great. He said some shop in Connelsville made them up for around $200. 00, wish I could remember where he said he had it done.

I sometimes do some work around your area, (I'm a plumbing contractor) just plumbed a house on Hunter Hill RD.

Rick,
It's a small world isn't it. I know of that white truck you are talking about. It used to belong to my buddy. It is a highly BOMBed 12 Valve. Runs real good. I was told a Mount Pleasant cop owns it now. I have yet to meet him. But I think my 24 Valve will teach him a lesson or two.

Look me up when you are in the area. We should get together a do some BOMBing. You are right. Not many Dodges in this town.

Take Care and I hope to meet you someday.

Andy

Moving to top. .
Andy,
Where do we stand on forming a local chapter? Looked like the thread died after the holiday's
