Air-lift or Firestone?

5th wheel tail gates ?

I run 36. 0" Dirt Grips on my truck. I tow a 26' boat on a triple axle trailer. I like them a lot. They ride nice, balance well, and are quiet for an aggressive tire. The key is rotating them and keeping on top over air pressure. Rotate them every 6,000 miles or so and you'll get 40,000 miles out of a set.

thanks for the replies folks. im looking at dirt grips because they are a 315/70/17 that is E rated. i dont have much money, so plan on buying 2 tires for the rear to help with the weight of the trailer. once i have some more money i will rotate those to the front and buy new for the rear. i cant see it being more than 4k miles in between. i just ahev to tow my trailer from so cal to east of phoenix, so i need some E rates.

thanks again for the replies, and for future replies yes i know this isnt the safest thing to do, but its 75% safer than running the D rates on the back.

the interco trxus m/t's are also E-rated in the 35x12. 50-17, i think they're a little cheaper than the P. J's, i love mine, i've had 2 sets, got 35k out of them rotating regularly, and i tow almost everyday, up to 37,000lbs. gross on a single rear wheel truck, not to knock the P. J. 's, but my buddy had them on his Hummer H1, and had 2 of them come apart, one of them trashed his $5000. 00 hood/fender assembly... .

thanks for the input. i thought about the truxs MT's and still might do it. i was looking mroe at weight rating though. i belive the swampers are 2195 for weight where the PJ's are 36** lbs. thats where im starting to head. id love to just go to 19. 5's now, but i have to wait till i can dually the truck out first.

The interco trxus are rated at 3640 lbs. on the website as well as printed on my tires, 10 ply rating, i just put a set on my '06 dually in the 35", they look very good in a dual setup  ... .....
