cool picture of something faster than HVAC!

Gonna make a small trip to KC to pick up a trailer for a friend (HelicopterDan), can anyone recommend a good steakhouse down there?

Also there is a Sheplers Western Wear down there too correct? I'll stop there too, the places here in Omaha kinda stink in regards to shirts.

Like I said just a run down... . and run back up here 2 1/2hours each way I guess.

eric--try k. c. masterpiece. my wife says they're real good. there's one in the plaza
and a couple of others in the city...

Today sometime

Well dunno really LOL. I am running down with HelicopterDan (in my truck) to meet a friend of his in KC to drag a flatbed back to Omaha. I don't know when I am leaving, I been up since yesterday afternoon (worked all night) and waiting for Dan to get off work to make sure we are going. I'll email you for your phone number. Right now I truck is pretty much back to "Stock", I just had some warrenty work done to it, so I removed my EZ, and PE. So the only thing "on" it is the shift kit in the transmission. Making sure the "warrenty work" is satisfactory before putting anything else back on.

I'll email ya anyhow.

Gatz BBQ. I think there is two of them there. Live on the other side of Kansas but have been to KC twice, and ate at Gatz or Gates BBQ. Really good, but that is all I can remember.

BBQ and steaks is Jacks-Stack. A little pricy, but the best chow in KC.

The company name is "Struttin' Gates". Used to be one here in Las Vegas, but was a bit dry. (big surprise! something dry in the desert)

Back in the early '80's when I was still in High School, and attended the Nat'l FFA convention there in KC,MO, our Ag teacher, Mr Bearden, (you probably know him... EVERYBODY knows him, even newborns in Communist China know Bill Bearden!) took us to the Cattlemen's Steak House. Seemed to be pretty good, as I recall.

You might try Jess n Jims in the south part of town in an area called Martin City. They have excellent steaks. It is just west of Holmes road on Highway 150 Also the Hereford House is tops too. Can't remember the address but it is down by the old stockyards.

Try the Golden OX on the Missouri side. It's near the old stock yards just north of your yard. One of the best in North America, prices OK but not cheep!
