Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I plan on completing my bombing by this summer, and I want to get an NV4500.
Does anyone know of a shop in Idaho, or in close proximity that offers cheap remanufactured NV4500 trannies?
Or does anyone know reputable wrecking yards that have them? I am weary of wrecking yards, but if someone knows of a good one, that is the way to go.
The problem is this first step of bombing I will do will bring me to about 250hp and I will be running 36" tires... that seems a little shakey to me for the getrag.
Am I being underconfident of the getrag? Or will the getrag turn 36" tires at 250hp ok empty? I don't plan on pulling trailer with it much any more, so it will be empty 99. 9% of the time.
