Mr. Reeves the Superman Hero?

We are planning a trip to Florida during the week of Thanksgiving and the week after. We are going to drive from Colorado and stopping to visit friends/family along the way. I have two boys (6 and 9) and we want to go to Disney for a couple days. The Magic Kingdom is first on our list but is there any other places we must not miss? I lived there in the 70's and went back in '91 so it's been a while. Are there any deals out there?

Disney World has been the favorite vacation spot for the wife and I over the last few years. If you havn't been there since '91 there is quite a lot more to see.

At 6&9, your kids will probably enjoy Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal kingdom quite a bit. As adults, the wife and I enjoy lots of things in all of the parks. Check out disney's web site for a lot of details on what's new since you've been there last. There is really a ton to do there.

If you are looking for other attractions in the area, Universal Orlando is only minutes from disney on I-4.

If you are looking for any other info, let me know.

For boys that age, I think the DIsney MGM Studio theme park would be a day well spent. There are tons of rides and shows that fit their age group. If I had to rate the four Disney World parks in order of our personal preference, it would first be MGM, then Magic Kingdom, then Epcot, and then Animal Kingdom. Universal Studios would also be a nice alternative to MGM.

Have a great time!

Check out staying at a Disney resort while there. That has advantages like your room card gets you into all the resorts as many times as you want. Plus yer right there and can hop the monorail to get anywhere. MGM was cool, be sure to get on the Rockin' Roller Coaster. 0-60 in 2. ? seconds. MGM at night has much to offer the adult croud. If you're staying there, call the front desk as soon as you get to your room and make dinner reservations for every night you are there. Again at MGM there is a resteraunt much like eating at home back in the 50's (as if I'm that old) The waiters come around and make sure you're eating around yer plate and make ya eat your vegetables etc. , they get roudy, its a lot of fun for the fam. Bring thousands of dollars and plan on leaving it there. :D
