Nope they are only 5's I still have them. I keep them around to swap out for pulls and such. I have a 4" over axle tail pipe and some scrap 4" though that I'm about to make it where I can interchange from stacks to straight pipe.

5 yrs and two trucks later... I start to get a little burned out on stacks sometimes. :-laf

i like the way they are short... may hafta do that... and i understand what u mean abt gettin burnt out

If you have a regular cab truck I *HIGHLY* recommend stacks at least 4-to-6" above the cab to help with resonence. Look in my readers rigs at my old white truck. With those miters even with the cab driving back and forth to school everyday was a nightmare. :{ You'd be partially deaf by the time you go there and the time you got back (hour one way). I had them that short thinking that they had to be for my truck to still fit in my basement. Had them done out of state, realized once I got home that I still could have went 4-6" above the cab to help. Later got turnouts GREATLY reduced resonence.

When I first installed my stacks on this truck (club cab) I ran out of time to cut down my new turnouts, that's why the pics show the miters. The cab resonence was tollerable around town, but I took a 2 hr trip to Knoxville for a truck pull and it was annoying on that trip. Passenger and I had to really speak up to talk to one another. With the turnouts its more bareable, but I'm going to swap the straightpipe on before leaving for IRP this June. ;)

wow , you guys are alot of help! Thanks a bunch for the replys. 6's going on saturday! also i was wondering how did you space your 5" pipe on the box and how wide was your box? I like the spacing of your stacks but i was thinking maybe of going a little wider?

I centered them up with black line above the windows. If I had it to do over I would have spaced them a little farther out, but its ok.

got smoke is that with a slider or sold rear window?

The old truck (reg cab) has a solid glass. The current truck (club cab) has a rear slider. Its cool on a hot day to open the rear slider and put the windows down, but its real easy to get smoke drifting up in the cab that way. :-laf

3/8" steel for the box? Not overkill? I'd think 1/8" would be even thick for something like that?

When I setup my stacks, I'm going to try and not do a box like that. I know it's easier, but I want the most use out of the bed. I'd imagine it gets hot enough to melt stuff... like the plastic bed liner?

I second that fact of at least 6in above the cab. When I first stacked mine they were flat tops with rain caps and even with the cab. It was miserable even with the windows up you could not talk. So I added the 18 in turnouts and that made all the differnce in the world. Now you can talk and hear the music.

When its the only thing you can find, and its only $25 for 5ft you go with it. ;)

I tried to find some earlier this year for a friend... ..... NODDA! :eek: :{

Don't blame you there. It's not like the extra weight is going to hurt the truck anyhow.

I'm kinda debating stacks now. I was set on building some, but I'm worried about loading up the back of the truck and having stuff get melted. I'm thinking maybe building some guards or something, but I dunno at this point.

How about bed liner, like Rhino/Line X. Will that hold up to the heat?

As you can see I have Line-X and it holds up great. I forgot to add last night that the box seems to run quite a bit cooler than 4" round pipe. I've had both so I noticed a big difference. Possibly because the box is so thick, I really don't know?
