Plastic Cummins mock up blocks

Does any one know if there was any ever built ?



This would be really nice when haveing to fabricate motor mounts or what ever .



Now that i opened my mouth and sparked a idea some fat cat will build them and make millions of my idea possibly . Oh well

Carli Suspension has some awesome chromoly motor mounts already. They were cad designed,laser cut and tig welded. Needless to say they are very stout.

What are thos mounts to pichtured ?



The idea of a plasitic block is in fabricateing mounts its light enough to move with out haveing to use a cherry picker all the time .



My wife wants a Cummins Powerd Durango and its looking like ill have to build the mounts so this the reason id like to find a cheap plastic block or cheap good 4bt

I see the mounts coming apart in off road use and they all tend to settle quite a bit with normal wear and tear. If you remember how much clearance you had between the xmember and the oil pan new,compare to now.

If you wait till the mount fails you can end up with some pricey repair bills. Radiator,fan damage happens very quickly when the mounts fail.

I would suspect they would help the drag racers and sled pullers too.
