I'd like to restore all the plastic trim on my truck... I. E. body side molding, bumper covers, and air dam, mirrors... They're all looking kinda gray. I've tried armor-all, silicone spray, tire wet type stuff, and it all wears away in a couple of days. Anyone know of something that wont look like I just sprayed armorall on it without painting it? Just want it to look nice.

Thanks

Craig

Mothers makes a products called back to black. It work good for the gray on the front bumper but just a warning it collects alot of dust. I have also used Black magic spray on tire shine. Or maybe look at LMC truck for replacement parts. I used them for some on my 2nd gen.

MOPAR specs. a vinyl restorer in a trigger-spray bottle that is not glossy. I can't remember its name, but 'Satin' or 'Deluxe' is part of it. It produces a matte finish and I've used it to the exclusion of anything else. Its not for tires and doesn't last on hard plastic, but my dash board, seats and bumper valences maintain a near factory appearance. If you have a wife or G. F. , and choose to use this stuff, ask her to wipe the interior down so the product's smell is familiar; You'll know then what I am suggesting, but the fragrance dissipates in a day or two.

I use this stuff on my Rhino liner and it litterally is like mega charged Armor-all. I tried it on trim and the results were awesome. I used it on a detail sponge and rubbed it in. I use Back to black, Love that stuff too ... . The 303 is a UV protectant so it will last AND protect. Back black makes for some odd streaking the first time it rains.
