Archived please help code p0113 check engine light.

2002 cummins engine check light came on. checked for codes it is throwing a p0113. which is [intake air tempature sensor 1 circuit high input]i have a scanner plugged it in and erased the code. but then it just comes back. i even just for the heck of it unplugged the sensor and pulled it out of the block. still get the same thing. please anybody with some ideas i would really appreciate the help and the input. thank you .

Did you check for a good connection at the IAT relay? I think it should be located on the fender well on passenger side. I have accidentally knocked mine loose before and got a code. Can't remember for sure if it was P0113 though.
