Please Help Leaking Problem #2 Sorry Mods I Put It In The Wrong One!

Guys please help me out my truck is leaking fluid... I found where it is leaking... it is on the engine near the oil filter. The tube has a red colored peice on it about 1 " long and it has a silver kind of knurled peice close to where it is tightened in the motor. it looks like there is a steel braded line where ever it goes... anyone know what im saying/????? PLEASE HELP IM SCARED!

what should i do if they do say something about them. I am only 18 years old i expect to be harassed . I hate how they treat me like im nothin just because im young...



would it be stupid to ask them to recolobrat my speedo? im guessing that would be pushing it

Check my reply on the other page. It will end up being the block heater. Also do a search for "coolant leak" in the 3G. You will find mine and several others. I wouldn't worry about the tires. CKruse

If they do say something about your tires (which I wouldn't expect), then politely tell them that your tires have nothing to do with your engine or potential cooling leak. If they were to push at that point, I would tell them that you are aware of your legal warranty rights and the effect of the Magnussen Moss Act (sorry if I got the spelling wrong, I am not American).

I doubt you have anything to worry about. And I also wouldn't hesitate to ask about speedo recalibration, although they would rightly bill you for that.

guys i went out and tightened the tube in the block heater. . I am really ****** off at how stupid the people are who where supposed to install this on my engine..... ... . I think you should all check your tubes going into the block heater... . I can only imagine how ****** a member would be if they where towing across country and there tube came loose... .

I had my speedometer recalibrated yesterday, no probs at all. I didn't even unplug the EZ.

heres one for ya, my truck came new with 315's on it conversion kit from dealrship and it leaked coolant on the head. if they give you any crap tell them to bite your a$$ and go to another dealer
