I bought a MSD/Superchips EGT/Boost gauge and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get the boost gauge plumbed! #@$%! It didn't come with any boost tubing, so I picked up the boost adapter from Geno's. I had some 1/8" tubing with compression fittings to snuggle into the adapter, but there is NO chance that 1/8" tubing is going to fit over the nipple on the MAP sensor supplied with the gauge (it's about 1/4"). Has anyone else had this problem? Is melding a 1/8" ID vinyl tube (that will fit the nipple) over the 1/8" OD nylon boost tube the only way to skin this cat? Or is there some better solution? Thanks.

I think it was 3/16 hose, and I teed into the waste gate hose. Had to modify a 1/4 tee to make it work. At least I can see what the turbo puts out.

Full install instructions

WKruger - Thanks for the info. You're right - it's a 3/16 ID hose for nylon. I kind of put together my own rig with some tubing and fittings I already had. I'll probably make a couple adjustments later, but it's in and it works flawlessly. I LOVE the gauge and I'm ready to start modifying the truck now that I can measure what's going on. :) If anyone needs more info, I made a Word doc of the whole install with pix.
