Poll for Amber Alert

4th gen forums?

Ok, let me say this again!

What I need is a good picture of a dark truck on a relatively dark background - no white. Then I can darken it up some more and put it on there. If it's not a dark (nearly black) picture then the text is extremely hard to read. I could put the 3rd gen truck pic back up.

-Steve

The only other picture I have that will work is the 3rd gen picture that I had on there that noone liked.

No respect!

RXsmoke, I'll remember that comment when your 4th VP pukes, and your sorry butt needs a tow! LMAO

Say Steve, I have pics of different angles, shall I send 'em yer way? LOL... ... ... ... . (runs for cover)

Did someone say "snow bunnies"?

Yikes, I have seen those winter wonder lusts before and that would really increase the TDR population... Just like rabbits... LOL

How about a pic of the snow bunnies being dumped out of Rob's dump into my back yard for a weekend of fun!

man all that corperate kiss *** that Rob did and his truck is now gone from the chat background? Somebodies gonna be #@$%!

J/K Rob!;) :D :-laf

Gene,

Once we get ahold of Rob's truck, we'll have to have the trash bag handy for all the sub-500hp dyno run sheets.

Then after that we'll find a nice quarry and push that puppy in with a bulldozer.

To keep the world from the infection that is Robs truck.

:-laf :-laf :D

My vote would be for one of EarthRoamer's pics. When I see pics of his rig(s) it makes me want to be on the road to far off places.

Plus, the background could/should be changed on a regular basis.

who dug up this old thread, never saw this one before. In the fall of '04 I had the pleasure of chasing that darned green dump truck from Clarkston to Auburn Hills at a high rate of speed during rush hour, driving my '96 with a travel trailer in tow . . . don't care to ever repeat that again!

Why were you chasing it? Whats it matter nowadays what in the background, no one ever is in there anymore. 28,000 plus members and... Speaking of old threads, maybe I should dig some up from around the same time frame !

It was when I was passing through the Detroit area and was picking up two sets of his traction bars. . . one for me and a set for someone else. Well he wasn't ready when I showed up and he was scrambling to get things together and ended up wasting a couple hours of my time. We made a beeline to the powder coaters in Auburn Hills and he was clipping along pretty fast (75 or so) which made it a bit nerve racking zipping through suburban Detroit traffic with a camper in tow (albeit a small one). In the end the parts were not ready so I basically wasted 2+ hours for nothing.

Rob's truck was pretty cool, but unfortunately the nasty road salt there was already taking a toll on it and there was a pretty good dose of rust getting its start in several areas of the hardware underneath (shocks, lift components, etc. ).

Clarkston the traffic was absolute gridlock due to construction. Took 30 minutes to get from the freeway and go 2 miles to meet up with Rob. One thing I noticed about Michigan is they seem to have construction zones with closed lanes that stretch on for tens of miles, with no one in sight actually doing anything
