First off, thanks for all your prayers while I was in the Middle East. It means a lot.

My wife and I just returned from a 1600-mile round trip to Arkansas, and i couldn't believe the great mileage. We pushed 75+ the whole way, had lots of full-pedal passing (couldn't help it), and STILL cleared better than 19MPG the whole way. I can't wait to see how good it gets when the truck gets broken in some more. It now has just a tick over 5K (because of this trip) and the engine definitely seems to like the use-- it feels smoother and a little more relaxed.

BTW- has anyone tried/used the Fitch Fuel Catalyst? I had awesome results in my maxima, but I don't know anyone who's used it in a diesel application before.

Glad to be back and posting. I apologize to those I have offended in the past.

Welcome back, Hohn. Glad you are allright.

Haven't heard of the catalyst you are talking about.

Let's get together before I head back to the coast.

Welcome back Hohn, I too am glad you made it back in one piece. GREAT mileage for a truck that is nowhere near broken in yet! Mine got better until about 50K miles, if yours does that you might be in the "either a miracle or a liar" group getting way over 20 MPG when you want to;) :D .

Welcome back Hohn.

Never apologize. Your friends don't need it and those other folks won't believe it anyway.
