I'm in the process of prototyping a plug-and-play harness to read drive pressure through the truck's OEM exhaust pressure sensor in the same fashion that we read rail pressure using the OEM sensor. I was able to source the OEM connectors (not some cheap Chinese copy) and got it all wired up to my CTS2. I did a short YouTube video for you guys so you could see the progress. Now that I know it works, I'm going to work on making it look a little better and getting it permanently installed. Whatcha think?

It looks like it works correctly, but what are you trying to monitor it for? If the DPF is plugged you will get a CEL anyway.

That looks great. Will you be selling these???? :)
With the tuning that you run, what is your DP to Boost ratio??
With my tuning from Ray, I'm about 1:1

He is measuring his drive pressure.

Monitoring drive pressure is useful when tuning so you can try to hit that optimal 1:1 ratio. By monitoring, I'm hoping to be able to keep tabs on how the turbo is performing and hopefully be able to spot a sticking turbo by abnormal pressure readings. If the drive pressure doesn't "return-to-zero" properly, I can identify that the turbo hasn't fully reset it's position.

I'm thinking about making these and selling them through Geno's if they're interested. Buying the connectors individually is pretty expensive, but buying in bulk is much cheaper. The high cost is in the crimpers. What I've got in the video is just crimped together with some needle nose, and they are no where near strong enough for a long-term solution. I shot a video of the test drive where you can see the drive pressure compared to boost. It was bright outside so the numbers are a littel hard to read, but in full screen mode on high resolution you can read them ok. It's about a 1.5:1 drive to boost ration. I'm still running the Smarty S67.
