I got the gauge (Autometer Z-series full sweep electric) installed, but not sure which plumbing route I should take.
a) Drilll and tap the banjo bolt on the side of the injection pump (coming from the filter head), install pressure snubber immediately and then run ready-made S/S braided line to the fender and install sending unit, then wires into the cabin and guage.
b) Use the banjo bolt from Geno's in place of the one on top of the filter head (output side leading to the injection pump). This means I would lose my bleeder so I thought about putting a 1/8NPT x -3AN x -3AN Tee. First screw the snubber into the Geno Banjo Bolt, then Tee into that. One of the -3AN branches would be connected to a S/S line similar to above and the other branch would get capped with a -3AN Cap and be used as my bleeder.
The Geno bolt will not fit at the side of the injection pump. That was my original plan, but the thread size is wrong.
Is one way better than the other?
Thanks
