Hard Hats - Yes / No?

Bending aluminum tubing.

I recently bought a jeep to start as a project and the previous owners went a little over board on the bondo so I want to cut out the bad section and weld in a replacement panel. I was hoping that some one could recommend a good Hi quality Pneumatic Punch & Flange tool that is USA made. I was going to get one from snap-on but the one they sell only punches hear is a link

AT185, Punch Tool, Dual, Air, 3/16" and 5/16"

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated… What kind of Punch & Flange tool do the top end body shops use? I know it’s probable more than what I need but if I’m going to buy one I would like to have it last forever and work when I need it

Attached is a picture of what I’m fixing

Thanks

nothing wrong with good expensive tools I have some for my welding equipment, BUT harbor freight sells one of the tools you need for probably under $20 I have one and it works fine. I have there pneumatic small recip saw and my boy says it works as good as the Snap on one he used at the muffler shop a great tool for cutting to a line for your panel replacement. Oh well Im ready for the flames to start. There ball joint c clamp like style tool has done many ball joints for me as well as ujoints. I can easily list there duds. Ed ready for the fight.

You'd think that for a halfway decent job, you'd take off the tail lamp assy and the license plate :p

Let's give the guy a break. He hasn't started the repair yet, just getting all the necessary tools together. I like his thinking to plan ahead.

This is a picture I took not 2 hours after I bought it. The bondo and crap was what the previous owner did, but you would already know that if you would have read my post. Why do you think I’m looking for a good flange tool? I’m no expert body worker but I do better work than slap 3/4" of bond over a dent and call it good. #@$%!
