Archived po868 code????

i searched this code and found nothing. I was running my truck on Crazy Larry with my EZ on 1, stock turbo, DTT transmission. raced a duramax, killed him, drove to the local burger joint. had my burger, come outside, get in the truck, drives fine, then some idle time, then go to drive off. give it throttle, pours smoke, truck slowy, slowy starts rolling... . horrible turbo lag. turned the Bullydog down to tow and it still does it. the EGTs go through the roof. cleared the codes and it came right back... turbo barked at very low boost and then made a funny noise on down spool.

P0868, Transmission Fluid Pressure Low.



I'd say the computer went into safe mode cause a pressure transducer in the transmission fried from you raceing. the crazy larry is still fuleing but the computer is detuneing the engine to keep it from breaking the transmission due to what it thinks is low pressure.

figured it out... my truck is at my local DTT shop now. I was told the transducer was a common thing on these trucks to go out.



what it was doing when i was experiencing "horrible turbo lag" wasn't turbo lag at all, it was starting out in 3rd gear. cycle the key and it runs fine, then it will mess up again. when it does mess up, i tried to manually put it into first and it wouldn't go anywhere.



James Northum is a great DTT guy and he should have me on the road again this evening.



how do you fry a transducer? i was under the impression that it just goes out at times.
