Pocket Dynamometer

Anyone tried the Pocket Dynamometer that Genos is advertising? Noone in Anchorage has a chassis dyno and I would like to get an idea of how much HP I don't have yet #ad
I'm interested if a comparison has been done.

It's funny, I have one but haven't used it yet. My truck always has my camper loaded and the maximun wieght on the Pocket Dynomometer is 10,000 LB. I will be in your neck of the woods late June or early July. I could email or call you when I get close if you want to try mine out. That is if you haven't already bought one. I could contact you anyway and we could talk trucks and Alaska.

I have one and it seems to be pretty consistent, how accurate I do not know. The claim is that it is accurate.

Got one. Like it. Seems to work pretty close. Has good features other than just HP. Recommend. Much better than seat of the pants.

Got one coming from Genos. Any "tricks" or things that would help in the operation fo the G-Tech?

Just make sure you have the right weight in and it should be within 10hp. I used it to measure my BOMB experiments and then put the truck on a dyno and was 8hp diff to the better.
