Just curious what others carry (if anything). How do you like it?

Also, how do you carry it? Belt? Pocket?

I've got a Gerber Legend 800 , but don't like to carry it in a pouch on my belt. I'm sort of searching for a discreet way of carrying it without having to stick it in my pocket.

Leatherman

I carry a Leatherman all the time and I use it just about every day and I use the leather case on the belt. I like it better then the Gerber because it's smaller.

I recieved a Leatherman Wave as a gift and I am never without it. I carry it in the leather pouch on my belt. I use it every day.

leatherman original - 7 days a week. yes i even use it at church all the time.

most important use, was on an Oboe at state music contest, 5 minutes before the band was to go on stage. the oboe had solos!! the band got a superior rating (I).

i am glad i don't fly for a living, i can't be without it.

i have a similar knife [same style different brand] that i have on me 24/7. at work, i keep a cheap stanley multi-tool in my pocket 90% of the time. it does what i need it to do at work, and it only cost me $10 [regular price $30]. i had another cheap multi-tool before, but it finally was no use to me. i had bent/broken all the slot screwdrivers on it, the philips driver was worn out and the plyers cutting edges were no good anymore [funny though, i never used the knife on it, as i had the folding utility knife on me all the time]

I keep my Leatherman Wave in the truck all the time. I have a cheap off brand that I carry at work. The stuff I work around tends to screw tools up and the Leatherman is to nice for that! It comes out on camp trips or other outdoor trips.

I have one like this http://www.leatherman.com/products/tools/kick/default.asp that I got from a client (their name is laser engraved into it). It has a pocket clip on it and I can put it in my pocket with the clip on the lip of the pocket right at the outside of my hip. I don't even notice it there, it's easy to get to since it's held right at the top of my pocket, and it doesn't get in the way of getting things out of my pocket. I carry mine all the time and it gets tons of use. Been carrying it for about 4 years now.

Batman belt

I have carried the same Leatherman Wave since 1999 when my dad gave it to me, and never leave home without it. Along with that I also daily carry a Benchmade 940 knife, a SureFire 6P flashlight, a Streamlight KeyMate (as a backup light since I often work in dark buildings with no electricity), a . 380 auto handgun and two extra clips. :) In the winter, I add a butane pocket torch for thawing padlocks that have frozen.

I had a Leatherman Wave for several years until I lost it 4 wheelin in the forest. I also have a Victorinox Swisstool which is really heavy but has better tools than the Wave. I carry either one everywhere except in airports. I like the Wave better and I think I hinted for the Ti version enough to get it for my brithday. Oo.

Swiss Army knife. Use it every day. Especially the toothpick.

pretty mush the same here i have a kershaw in my front pocket and a victorinox swiss next to my little torch litter in my back pocket use both knieves eveyday and don;t leave the house w/o them

I have the Kershaw multi-tool on my belt. Once you have locking pliers in a multi-tool you will want nothing less. I also carry a ToolLogic tool lite multi-tool in my wallet. Sometimes security at some places will catch the one on my belt, but never the one in my wallet. :D

A leatherman Mini in my climbing harness and a leatherman Wave on my belt. Use to have a regular leatherman and I really like how I can use the knife w/o opening on the Wave.

A Leatherman original carried in my pocket gets me out of a bind almost daily. Its not much bigger or heavier than any mid-size folding knife. I've carried it for 5 years now and I've only been able to break the small scewdriver (using it as a pry bar). This thing is a close second to duct tape.

I prefer the Vice Grips ToolBox and a pair of splicers snips in a homemade belt case, and of course a McGiever in my pocket. I find the vicegrips very usefull as opposed to the needle nose of the leatherman, although the leatherman may be a bit stronger.
